Miami Magazine presents "Splashion" at LIV Nightlcub to kick-off Swim Week in Miami!

Miami is officially getting sexier by the minute! Swim Week has arrived my Sazoneros and I'm so excited to bring you all of the highlights from the shows I'll be attending. Last night, Miami Magazine hosted their fourth annual Splashion event at LIV Nightclub inside the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. This gnarly beach themed fashion show featured swimwear collections by BECCA by Rebecca Virtue, Betsey Johnson, Jag, Jantzen, Perry Ellis, Masquenada and La Martina [to name a few]. Guests enjoyed Cointreau cocktails and Voga Italia Wines while indulging in complimentary beauty demonstrations by Elemis Spa and Rik Rak Salon. This was definitely the place to be seen last night so make sure you check out the video I added to this post if you missed it!

DJ Irie (pictured above) was bringing his hottest beach beats to Splashion last night! I love running into him in Miami because he's always happy and making everyone dance to his music. In case you missed him during Irie Weekend, make sure you check out his recently launched Irie Foundation.

J-Lo Performing Live at LIV this Saturday!

WARNING: Celebrities are literally dropping out of the sky to visit our sexy city during Super Bowl weekend. A perfectly good example: Jennifer Lopez is scheduled to perform live at the AXE Lounge at LIV (4441 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach) this Saturday, February 6th. $25,000 to see Lady Gaga on New Year's?

A week ago, I posted information about Lady Gaga's New Year's Eve bash at the Fontainebleau Hotel on January 31st. BUT, I just found out that tickets range from $425 to $25,000. Is it really worth spending all this money to see Lady Gaga? For those looking for a free event, check out the "Downtown Countdown" at Bayfront Park on January 31st (8 p.m.). Enjoy the disco sounds of DJ Tarik and a fireworks display over Biscayne Bay when the clock strikes midnight! Watch the Big Orange ascend the side of the Hotel Intercontinental as the seconds count down.

Another option: celebrate New Year's Eve at Club 50 located on the 50th floor of the Viceroy Hotel (485 Brickell Avenue) in Downtown Miami. General admission is $200 ($75 for ladies, depends on space availability) from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. All guests will have open bar privileges and a champagne toast at midnight. Want to welcome the new year with Lady Gaga? On December 31st, Lady Gaga will be making an appearance at the James L. Knight Center in Downtown Miami at 7 p.m. Afterwards, she'll be heading over to the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach where she plans to officially ring in the new year! All events are scheduled to take place around the hotel's pool deck and inside LIV Nightclub (4441 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach).
