Procter & Gamble hosts "Orgullosa de mi Belleza" at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel

Earlier this month I attended an event hosted by Procter & Gamble called "Orgullosa de mi Belleza" [translation: Proud of my Beauty] at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Brickell. The event celebrated beauty amongst influential Latinas and top beauty writers in Miami. Since it was an afternoon of pampering, guests enjoyed complimentary mini-manicures, massages, consultations and hair treatments. After experimenting with some of the new Covergirl lipstick colors in the make-up room, I had the pleasure of meeting Celebrity Hair Stylist from Pantene Pro-V, Carlos Vera, who is pictured above along with Rosa Cordero (Editor of Accidental Sexiness), myself and Jeannette Kaplun (Host of Viva la Familia on Univision). To learn about the "Orgullosa de mi Belleza" campaign, make sure to visit the official website for beauty tips and expert advice to keep you "bella" inside-and-out.

Vanidades hosts their Fifth Annual "Magia de la Moda" Fashion Show at the Bass Museum

On Friday, October 22nd, Vanidades hosted their "Magia de la Moda" fashion show at the Bass Museum of Art in South Beach. Vanidades is the leading and most established Spanish language women's magazine in the US Hispanic Market. Their sophisticated fashion event was presented by Pantene and CoverGirl as part of Funkshion Fashion Week. There were plenty of beautiful models who took center stage on the catwalk like Alejandra Espinoza (pictured on the left wearing a stunning black dress from the Jacqueline Quinn Collection) who won Univision's Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2007. To kick-off the fall season, Vanidades featured 70 looks on the runway from designers like Trina Turk, Elie Tahari Bal Harbour, Laundry by Shelli Segal, Laura Buccellati and Ina Soltani. Here are my photos from the evening:

Covergirl and Pantene present this year's Cosmopolitan Summer Splash at The Setai

On Wednesday, July 14th, Miami's hottest trendsetters and fashionistas attended the annual Cosmopolitan Summer Splash event presented by Covergirl and Pantene. Upon arriving at The Setai, guests received a sample of Eva Longoria's new scent called Eva. Throughout the night, guests sipped on complimentary mojitos and cocktails while viewing a spectacular outdoor fashion show. The fashion show featured swim looks from brands and stores like Sears, Seduce (dress pictured on the left), Ashley Paige and Charlie by Matthew Zink. All of the stunning shoes for the show were provided by Sergio Rossi Bal Harbour and the watches were courtesy of Hublot at The Setai. Telemundo's Azucena Cierco from Al Rojo Vivo hosted the fashion show to welcome guests and thank all of the sponsors for the night. Overall, the event was a great way to prepare for today...the first day of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. Sazoneros! I'll be attending most of the shows lined up for this international swim event so stay tuned for my special coverage!!! Here are some photos from last night's Cosmopolitan Summer Splash:
